I have a HUGE barrel racing hangover today thanks to a lot of wonderful people that have been placed in my life!! My weekend started on Thursday as we headed to Munford AL for SPRA/DCR/SYBB rodeo. With 6 horses in tow I had my hands full from the start. BNV Dreams of Green and Miss Trixie Trojan (along with Gage & Sharpie) worked well during a late night practice in the arena and proved that the arena dirt was not yet rodeo safe!!! AHH Mazing and I ran at the rodeo Friday night and finished 2nd on the weekend. Took an exhibiton run on BNV Dreams of Green during the rodeo and she clocked just a second off AHH Mazing. Saturday at 1pm the SYBB rodeo started and Gage was the first my bunch to run barrels...he finished 3rd in 10 & Under on A Sharper Cardinale. Sydney Lind Moore and Sam Cardianle were up next and after a timer malfunction claimed the win in the 19 & Under class with her rerun. Lauren Elliott and Duetsie J ended the SYBB with a win in the Open as well!!!! Gage won the Mutton Bustin' and then Lauren and I headed 3.5 hours to Meridian MS for the NBHA MS07 show. We picked up Taylor Kelley on our way and arrived safe and sound and rapidly unloaded horses. I had 4 clean runs and managed a 3D check on BNV Dreams of Green and AHH Mazing was 10th 1D. Lauren had some tough luck in the open. Taylor manged to earn points on Sam Cardinale & Miss Trixie Trojan in the Youth...never having ridden either horse before. If that wasn't enough we loaded up for another barrel race on Sunday afternoon. I only hauled 3yo, High Rollin EZ Jetta for an exhibition. Haley Rolison Lavender and Dollar made a nice run as well as Amy Williams and Tiger Mint, Lauren and DJ.Aubrey Gilliland & Sam Cardinale were able to get in some much needed practice away from home. #magnoliafarm #sontbeatusjoinus#performancehorseplus #oxygenhorse #flair #BOT
